- 3. 木村式自然栽培米 この栽培方法の特徴 肥料と農薬を一切使わない 2013年にスタートし、 今年で5年目を迎えた。 Kimura method of natural cultivation rice The greatest features of this cultivation method is that, It is not to use fertilizer and artificial manure at all. Five years have passed since we started this research in 2013. Rice making by natural cultivation advocated by Mr. Akinori Kimura ,the author of "Miracle apple"
- 4. 収穫量は、６０％と少ないが、 肥料代と農薬代が不要であるため、環境に優しい 栽培方法である。 安全で安心なお米として高い評価を受けており、 買い取り価格は１４０％が保障されている。 Although the harvest volume is as low as 60%, it is environmentally friendly cultivation method. - 本校の１５haの水田では、安全で安心な米作りについて学んでいます。一般的な栽培方法を学ぶ一方で、持続可能な米作りに挑戦しています。
- 今回は、本校の生徒が授業で取り組んでいる持続可能な米作り、「木村式自然栽培米」の研究活動について紹介します。
- 「木村式自然栽培米」とは、奇跡のリンゴの著者である木村秋則氏が提唱する 自然栽培による米作りで 本校では、2013年に栽培を開始し、今年で5年目を迎えました。 この栽培方法の特徴は、肥料と農薬を一切使わないことです。
- イネの成長に必要なミネラルは、土が本来持っている成分と水路から自然に流入する成分です。当然収穫量は、６０％と少なくなります。収穫量は少なくなりますが、肥料代と農薬代が不要で、安全安心で環境に優しいところが高く評価され、買い取り価格は１４０％と保障されています。
- 栽培に農薬を散布しないので、除草については、農薬に頼らない方法、手作業などで 早めから確実に行う必要があります。
- イネが小さい時にジャンボタニシが大量発生するとイネが食べられて被害にあいます。イネが大きくなるとジャンボタニシは雑草を食べて除草してくれます。ジャンボタニシの被害を抑え、活用するには、水の深さをうまくコントロールする必要があります。
- このように機械を使って、水田の水はけの改善と高低差の改善を行いました。
- また、この農法で栽培すると、植物は、肥料を求めてしっかりと根を張るので収穫時期に大風が吹いても倒れにくくなります。
- この栽培方法で、寿司米として人気のある「朝日」米は、美味しくなりました。
- また、日本酒の原料となる酒米「雄町米」は、企業に依頼してオリジナルの日本酒を作る予定です。
- これからも興陽高校は、安全で安心な米作りを実践的に学ぶ学校として、また、地域の子ども達と一緒に地域の農業の将来を考える拠点として今後も役割を果たしていきたいと思います。
